Choosing an FRL unit starts with the compressed-air equipment it will serve. Confirm the required pressure, air demand and air quality before choosing a port size or adding lubrication. This guide helps you prepare those details for a replacement or a new installation.
For the current product options, see IHPC’s FRL unit range in Chennai.
The filter, pressure regulator and lubricator perform separate functions. A filter/regulator combines the first two in one unit; a separate lubricator can complete the assembly when the downstream equipment requires it. Check the equipment manufacturer’s lubrication instructions before specifying an FRL instead of an FR combination.
Compare the listed Maxflow filter/regulator + lubricator with the separate filter + regulator + lubricator assembly. Confirm the exact configuration in the quotation.
Duncan’s published Maxflow G1/4–G1 combination data specifies compressed air, a maximum operating pressure of 10 bar and a temperature range of 5°C to 60°C. It lists line, wall or bracket mounting, a standard semi-automatic drain and an optional automatic drain.
These are references for the named Maxflow combinations. They do not establish the limits of every FRL or Parker Legris unit. Verify the ordered model, options and current technical sheet.
For an automobile workstation, steel-plant panel, tyre-plant line or cement-plant pneumatic circuit, describe the equipment and conditions rather than selecting by industry name alone. Copy and complete this checklist:
Include a photograph of the label and existing installation. If you are also replacing pneumatic flow control valves or one-touch fittings, include their part markings and tubing dimensions in the same enquiry.
Manufacturer references: Duncan’s Maxflow filter/regulator + lubricator and Maxflow filter + regulator + lubricator data. Parker publishes its own air preparation catalogue for model-specific selection.
